Welcome to Tinsley House Therapies

I’m Beckie Tinsley, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with nearly ten years’ experience. I offer compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to your individual needs — delivered remotely, in person at my Nottingham clinic, or through a flexible hybrid approach.

My goal is to help you increase your awareness, understand what’s holding you back, and support you in making conscious choices aligned with the life you want to lead.

Who I Work With

I support adults and young people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including:

  • Neurodivergent conditions (ADHD, ASD)
  • Long-term health conditions
  • Medically unexplained symptoms
  • Health anxiety, generalised anxiety, and panic attacks
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Fear, phobias, and emetophobia
  • Low mood and depression

Therapy Formats

Sessions are available via:

  • Remote video calls
  • In-person clinic appointments
  • Hybrid therapy (a flexible mix of both)
  • Walking therapy (available on request for increased accessibility)

My Approach

I offer evidence-based CBT adapted to your learning style, neurotype, and personal goals. My therapeutic style is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and curiosity. I draw on additional models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and person-centred principles to provide an integrative and individualised approach.

Experience and Background

As a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and clinical supervisor, I bring experience from both NHS and private healthcare settings. I’ve worked extensively with clients facing neurological conditions such as epilepsy, as well as those living with diabetes, cancer, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and other long-term conditions.

I also specialise in supporting late-diagnosed ADHD and autistic clients, and have a particular interest in the emotional and relational impact of health conditions and neurodivergence.
